OUR PROCESS

Below is our process from start to end.

THE BRIEF

Our task is to create content for the Beta Human museum, launching on November 20th. We have decided to work with both still images (illustration and photo) and motion content (video and animation) and our chosen theme is THE POWER OF SELF LOVE.

"Self love is the greatest middle finger of all times"

WEEK 1

Understanding the brief was our main focus for week 1. We also had a point of departure during this week and a TDS session with our own facilitator. Both of these group exercises helped us get a better understanding of each other and we ended the week by talking about roles within the group.

WEEK 2

Week two was all about ideation, and we where having a lot of meetings in the group discussing what we wanted to do. The project head line is POWER so we where starting to talk about racism in Sweden and in the world to get an broader understanding about it and how we could make it into something that could be shown in the museum. Some of us where looking closer on the video format and was building one story line. After discussing it in the group we had a brainstorm about what is the oppisite thing to hate witch is LOVE. so we Decided to make our project about self love and the power of it.

WEEK 3

This week was the one we really tried to explore different areas and versions on how to make content and art for our museum. We decided to split up into to different group so we could focus on different areas, video/picture. David and Unni rented a camera and equipment to build a photo studio with green screen and lightning and had a photoshot trying different ideas about self love. Alba, Arezou and Shabnam was exploring the area of making video and how that would look. They had meetings and ideation about different routs they could go. Building a story line and see where it could go. Later the week everyone started edit and work on the projects, Arezou started to build our 'museum' in mozilla hubs and everyone else was working individually to achive the final product .

WEEK 4

The final week! We started this week with a tour by arezou in our museum, we talked about where everything would be in our virual museum and made a plan. Mostly working to finish everything for the dead line and make everything work, witch we realised can be hard when you work in VR, to make the music in every room link with the gifs etc. A really difficult task but we managed to make it in the end!
